Palworld Xenolord Capture Guide: Location, Summon, Breeding, Tips & Tricks

With the release of Palworld Feybreak, plenty of new additions have arrived for players to discover. Some of the most exciting additions, of course, are brand-new Pals! Arguably the most powerful Pal in the new batch is none other than the fearsome Xenolord. This enormous beastie is formidable, but he can be added to your team if you know what to do.

Where to Find Xenolord in Palworld

Unfortunately, Xenolord isn't a Pal that you can find wandering the game's open world. This giant critter is actually a raid boss! As a result, you need to summon this monster in order to fight and see it. Of course, before you can summon it, you'll need a few things.

How to Summon Xenolord in Palworld

Here are the items you'll need to summon and start a fight with Xenlord:

• Xenolord's Slab
  • This is created by finding and combining four Xenolord Slab Fragments. These are random drops you can acquire from Feybreak dungeons or by using the Pal Expedition Station to send Pals in Feybreak-specific expeditions.
• Summoning Altar
  • This is a buildable you create at your base, and it requires you to be at Technology Level 33.
  • You'll want to make sure you build this far away from your valuable items and structures at your base since Raid battles can get destructive.
  • To build a Summoning Altar, you'll need 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragments.

How to Defeat Xenolord (Fight Tips & Tricks)

Be aware that Xenolord will spawn at a whopping level 60 when it's summoned. You'll want to be near that level in order to stand a chance. Additionally, Xenolord doesn't spawn alone. He brings multiple miniboss Pals with him in the forms of Xenogards and Xenovaders. They can be tricky to fight, but they shouldn't be too difficult to thwart so long as you have an ice element Pal for the Xenogard and a dragon element Pal for the Xenovader. Each one of them has significantly less health than Xenolord, and, as a result, the big guy should definitely be what you focus on. As a dual dragon/dark element Pal, Xenolord's greatest weakness will be ice element attacks. Bring your strongest ice Pal, and already, the fight should go much smoother. Avoid his spawning armies, and most of what you'll need to keep an eye on are the large AOE attacks. They are enormous, but they're clearly telegraphed by Xenolord's movements. Stay mobile, use your ice Pals, and Xenolord should fall in no time. You'll also want to keep in mind that the raid battle has a 10-minute time limit. Fail to defeat Xenolord in that time, and you'll have to summon it again. Also, Xenolord cannot be caught during this raid battle. Your goal is to reduce Xenolord's health all the way to zero. But don't worry! When you defeat Xenlord, you'll get a Huge Dark Egg which you can hatch into your very own Xenolord. Of course, there's only a chance you'll receive Xenolord this way so you'll probably need to fight the raid boss multiple times. Good luck!
