Summary
Barotrauma servers can be enjoyable to experience with small friend groups or sprawling public servers. While public servers can be exciting and fun, they also bring a risk of random players griefing or causing trouble. By utilizing console commands, Server Admins can permanently kick or ban a player from the server. This permission can also be extended to other ranks or made into a public vote-kick using the server settings.
How to Kick or Ban Players from a Barotrauma Server
1. Join the server as an Admin.
2. Press F3 to open the console.
3. Enter any of the commands from the table below to remove a player.

Kicks the target player from the server. |
KickID [Client ID] |
Kicks the player with the specified client ID. Client IDs can be found using the clientlist command. |
Ban [Player Name] |
Bans the target player from the server. |
BanID [Client ID] |
Bans the player with the specified client ID. Client IDs can be found using the clientlist command. |
Unban [Player Name] |
Unbans a currently banned player. |
4. Following the command, use the prompts in the console to give a Reason or Ban Length.
