Barotrauma servers can adjust the displayed server name and description to better advertise themselves on the public server list. These settings are a great way to inform players of the kind of server they'd be joining and show helpful resources such as Discord or website links. The name and description will also be displayed next to the Server Gamemode set from the same panel, allowing users to further inform any potential players joining.
How to Change the Server Name and Description on a Barotrauma Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. Navigate to the Server Name section.
5. Enter the desired server name.
6. Adjust the Server Description as desired.
7. Start the server.
