Summary
Barotrauma has helpful AI companions that can fill out roles and complete tasks on the submarine. These bots can be added from the Campaign Management menu and set to only appear when there are not enough players online. This ensures that while other players might be away, progress can still continue, and roles will not go unfilled, preventing almost certain disaster if the ship's engineer does not show up for work.

How to Add Bots to a Barotrauma Server
1. Join the server as an Admin.
2. Locate Bot Settings under the Gamemode Settings section.
3. Adjust the Bot Count as desired.
4. Set the Bot Spawn Mode. When set to Fill, the server will add bots if the Player Count does not exceed the Bot Count.
5. When ready to begin, press the Start button.
